Jay Lifton – Chairman of the Board View Bio
Jay Lifton is the Chief Executive Officer, Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Persephone Capital Partners. Mr. Lifton has over 25 years of corporate finance, capital markets, private equity/distressed investing and corporate restructuring experience. Most recently, Mr. Lifton was co-head of J.P. Morgan's Investor Driven Capital Markets (financings focused on mid market companies and DIP, Exit and Rescue lending). His previous position was as Managing Director in J.P. Morgan's Fixed Income Credit Trading Group specializing in distressed investment opportunities in the Americas. Mr. Lifton played a prominent role in building the franchise in Distressed Debt and High Yield at JPM during his 12 years in Credit Trading. Prior to J.P. Morgan, Mr. Lifton was in the Corporate Restructuring Group at The Bank of New York, and in International Trade Finance at Irving Trust.
Mr. Lifton has served as chairperson on several international bankruptcy committees and numerous boards of directors, and in addition to GRT, Mr. Lifton is currently on the board of Gleacher & Company and Renewable Biofuels, Inc. and had been most recently on the boards of Bally Total Fitness and Safety Kleen, Inc. Previously, Mr. Lifton has served on boards for companies in the chemical, healthcare, manufacturing, power and transportation sectors. Mr. Lifton currently serves as an observer on the New York State Financial Control Board.
Mr. Lifton received a B.A. in Economics from S.U.N.Y. at Stony Brook, and an M.B.A. from Baruch College.
Alex Sorokin – Chief Executive Officer View Bio
Mr. Sorokin is a Co-Founder and General Partner of Persephone Capital Partners. Mr. Sorokin began his career in marketing strategy and strategic planning and went on to be a consultant and CEO helping companies with business and financial restructurings across a wide range of industries for the past 30 years. He has been CEO of nine different companies, including most recently Ener1, a “green energy” lithium-ion battery manufacturer, Medical Staffing Network, which provides health care services, Vertis Communications and IWP International, while based in London.
In addition to his CEO experience, Mr. Sorokin has advised over 40 companies requiring business improvement, including many with field operations that are service based and benefit from the advantages of technology and work flow automation. Among the industries served are insurance, transportation, staffing, construction, and distribution. He has been a board member of six different companies.
Mr. Sorokin received a B.A. from The Johns Hopkins University.

Over the course of his more than 13 years in practice, Mr. Raie has achieved a long record of success assisting and guiding companies through some of the most complex legal issues. Mr. Raie has also gained significant experience handling litigation matters, and sensitive disputes, and he has represented a handful of professional baseball players and is awaiting certification from Major League Baseball. Honored for his professionalism and service, Mr. Raie has earned several award and accolades from his peers, including designation as a Top 40 Under 40 and as one of the Top 100 Lawyers in the state from The National Advocates. He was awarded the Rising Star Award by Super Lawyer Magazine eight times for the Pennsylvania and eight times for New Jersey. A graduate of Drexel University with a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration, Mr. Raie obtained his Juris Doctor in 2006 from the Thurgood Marshall School of Law. Kelly Mee – Controller View Bio
Ms. Mee began her career with a small start-up business, as an Office Manager/ Bookkeeper. She then moved onto a position in wholesale jewelry as a Director of Operations, beginning with Vision Solutions Impact, Inc. here on the seacoast. While at VSI, LLC, Ms. Mee managed the entire operations department and personnel, as well as assisted with the sales department. When the time came to for the company to be re-absorbed by its parent company, M. Fabrikant and Sons, Ms. Mee was fundamental in the relocation of the business back to Manhattan.
Upon leaving the luxuries market, Ms. Mee joined another start-up business, in the technology field as Controller at Ensconce Data Technology, Inc., which specialized in digital data destruction.
Ms. Mee returned to her wholesale roots when she joined Masai USA Corp as the Senior Accounting Manager, a position she held until the company was dissolved. While at Masai, she was responsible for all general accounting functions including full P&L, balance sheet, A/P, A/R, payroll, inventory control, variance reporting and financial analysis. She acted as the finance department representative on the US subsidiary business system ERP implementation team, developed internal controls and coordinate year-end audits with external auditors. She also managed the credit, collections and billing department with an A/R balance ranging between 3-5 million in open A/R and reduced over due A/R by 50% from baseline period.
Ms. Mee joined the Global Relief Technologies team as the Controller, in 2013. Ms. Mee is primarily responsible for planning, directing, implementing and controlling financial functions of the company, as well as working with business unit leads on contracts and strategic relationship agreements.
